Welcome to the Office of Open Records for the County of Monroe, Pennsylvania. The office was created as the result of Senate Bill 1, Session of 2007; Act 3 2008 known as the "Right-to-Know Law". The purpose of the legislation was to provide greater access to public information, provide for an appeal procedure if access is denied and to impose penalties.
The mission of the Office of Open Records is to enforce the state's Right-to-Know law and to serve as a resource for citizens, public officials and members of the media in obtaining public records of the County.
